About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to enjoy learning and adventuring while seeking summer's warmth and a place that feels like home
ABOUT ME
i wake up often and decide to rearrange everything in my life... many times this even includes my physical location or life path... i moved to Olympia, WA from southwestern VA in March 2008 on such a lark. Currently I am healing from a crazy painful back injury I got working for the man...last time i do something that silly >.< getting ready to go back to school. hope to travel the world, figure out feminist economics, and become a superhero before i die, although not necessarily in that order :] soon i am seeking to take an trek through the middle east, northern africa, india, and maybe even europe...
PHILOSOPHY
"life is a big bowl of fancy assorted cashews"
honestly, i think my vision of life is to step lightly, take lots o' pictures, listen to tales, and learn a new way to live that supports health and wholeness of mind, body, and spirit while learning to coexist with all other co-earthlings. life is, after all, far too serious a matter to be taken seriously :)

Music, Movies, and Books
wow, there is never enough time or space to discuss these topics online... but i dig a broad spectrum of music, movies, and books. beat authors and saint-ex being high on the list of near god-like :) i love most all music, specially things that are little heard of, local acts, or from far off regions!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
my claim to fame is traveling by car cross-county[usa] over 25 times while visiting every continental state {yep, all 48 of 'em}.
Teach, Learn, Share
What i can teach:
Cooking/baking, photo making [35-mm & digie], sewing, cross-stitching and embroidery, oil painting, how to work with what you got to do what ya need to, dumpster diving, and other life skills!
What i'd love to learn:
wildcrafting, foraging, herbal medicine and natural healing, permaculture, biodynamic farming, cob or other earth-structure building, survival techniques in the event of complete infrastructure breakdown/global climate shift/zombie attack, fire spinning, ocarina songs...
