我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm pretty new to couchsurfing but LOVE it! I stayed with girls in Budapest and Vienna and I can't think of a more perfect way to travel and meet AWESOME peeps. I'm recommending it to everyone I know (I think people are sick of me talking about it....)

兴趣

Traveling as much as I can, meeting new people, spontaneous moments, yoga, art, writing, wine & beer tastings, food, cooking (anything spicy, dark chocolate), live music, dancing like no one's watching, going out, sports (watching and playing), WAKA kickball, bowling (record: 211, thank you), hiking, anything outdoors really, beaches, and my Dad's magic show.

Books: I just started reading believe it or not and am slightly addicted! Current favorites are Letters to a Young Artist, The Four Agreements, The Alchemist, The Power of Now, and Live, Eat, Pray.

Music: EVERYTHING! Especially live music...Travis Webb, James Morrison, Dan Dyer, The Rolling Stones, Beatles, Aerosmith, Sting, Pat Green, Charlie Robison to name a few...

Movies: Napoleon Dynamite, Shrek, Bourne Identity, Anchorman, and Love Actually.

Beers at Oktoberfest, hanging out with howler monkeys in Costa Rica, Grey Cup weekend in Vancouver, sunsets in Cinque Terre (and an extremely HOT moment with my boyfriend on a cliff), hiking in Granada, beaches at Sitges, living in Paris and Barcelona, palace in Prague, Guiness Museum in Dublin, laying out in Lake Como, Seeing the Last Supper in Milan, and wow....I'm a lucky girl... but there's so much more I want to see!

In the past 6 months, I've been on a little bit of a soul searching journey. I quit a pretty high stress job in advertising in the states, sold all my stuff, and have been living life to its fullest ever since. I've learned that you can't help other people until you help yourself. So I've just been doing the things I love- traveling, art, writing, meeting new people and experiencing different cultures, and not worrying about the future. If you're following your heart, the rest of the world will conspire to help you.

Try it out- and you'll be surprised at how much your world will change.
