Sobre mí

CURRENT MISSION

To Video the World.. or at least the Caribbean

ABOUT ME

I was Santa. I was in Mongolia.

Now I'm in the Caribbean/Europe working on a Cruise Ship. I was a stage hand for two years and and a Broadcast Tech for about a year. Which means I was a videographer aboard ships. And now I am the Digital Content Specialist aboard the Liberty of the Seas. I maintain interactive touch screens around the ship and do fun graphic design.

I have worked on two ships in the Royal Caribbean fleet. Freedom and Liberty of the Seas.

I'm excited about getting back to Europe. Hope to see you there!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host when I have a home. Right now I'm working and living on a Cruise ship out of Miami, FL. If you'd like to tour the ship I can give you the grand tour and/or meet for coffee or brunch somewhere on a Sunday.

We're only in port every Sunday.

And in April the ship moves to Barcelona, Spain until October.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted for a few months in Mongolia. It was amazing. Met some great people. I would host in a heartbeat if I had a couch to offer anyone.

Intereses

I engage with quirky things. I enjoy going to small, often odd, museums or oddities. I've mini golfed in the basement of a funeral parlor outside of Chicago. I've walked the Nietchze Trail up a mountain in the south of France. I've been to a Cup Noodle Museum in Yokohama, Japan. I've eaten Iranian ice cream in Los Angeles.

These places are strange no matter where they are but they are completely informed by their location too. I'm fascinated by obsession and enjoy locating strange and interesting things. Enjoying completely local things and also completely imported things. Anyone who creates their own entire world is amazing to me. The big ones are Walt Disney, George Lucas, and Dali. But there are small worlds created every day that we can and I do seek out. I love finding locals' haunts and joining them in the local dishes.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Driving an hour outside of Chicago to play mini golf in the basement of a funeral parlor has been an amazing experience and a great story. It's completely free, just had to check if there was a wake going on that day. Can't play when there's a funeral.

Also eaten at a diner in Tampa, FL where Elvis once ate too. It's not in the middle of Mississippi or any weird Elvis crazy place. This one diner just has a plaque that read that Elvis sat here one day. Odd. Great fun. Good food.
