ABOUT ME

I like to do everything and nothing. Relaxing on a beach or passed out in a club, reading a book or pushing myself to exhaustion, fine dining and eating possibly stomach destroying street food, going to extremes to experience cultures, and sitting in the dorm room on the internet....I love it all.

I am travelling with my girlfriend, so will likely be couchsurfing with her, but don´t let that put you off - we are not one of those couples that hang around each other constantly. We still have fun.

Travelling for a while, so I do not have a couch available in the immediate future.

I haven´t yet, but looking forward to being hosted by the people of the country I am visiting and leaving the world of backpackers hostels.

Will definately host when I eventually return home.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I listen to a lot of drum and bass, hip hop and metal, but listen to pretty much anything (well, except teen pop, rnb and country and western).

Movies - one of my great loves. Too many to mention.

Books - recent books I have liked are: Aztec, Papillon, The Kite Runner, We need to talk about Kevin.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Natural - Torres del Paine in Chile, Huang Shan / Tiger Leaping Gorge in China and The salt flats of Uyuni in Bolivia are truly amazing places.
Cultural - Witnessed a 'sky burial' in Western Sichuan province, China.
