COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stood at the station in Lyon, and tried to find a hostel. Nowhere within 2 km radius a place to sleep... One of the people on the street I asked, offered me a couch. We both didn't know couchsurfing!
When I told back home this story, friends told me about couchsurfing and since that time I'm a member, but do not use it very much, since I prefer to meet travelling people in hostels.
