ABOUT ME

My name is Marina, I'm originally from Argentina and am 30 years old. I speak fluently Spanish, Italian and English and some Portuguese. I studied Tourism at Uni in Argentina and have just finished my MA degree in International tourism Management and Development in London. I like nature-based activities (camping, hiking, swimming, bike riding, horse riding, eventually fishing) I lived in La Rioja till I was 21. Then I lived in Dublin for a year and a half, then lived in Cordoba (Argentina) for 2 years and now it is been 5 years that I am in London.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a human rights advocate and strongly believe in social justice. I also promote responsible tourism so local communities can fully benefit from tourism development.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music and like to enjoy local gigs and live concerts as much as I can. Andean music made of wind instruments are my favorite for a sunset in the mountains. That reminds me of my childhood.

Teach, Learn, Share

I volunteer for an NGO called Tourism Concern writing articles to raise awareness about tourism negative impacts which aimed to encourage travelers to take travel decisions more responsibly.
