ABOUT ME

I,m a walker (3 miles most days) and an occasional hiker when I get the chance. I love my flower garden and definitely find my bliss among the flowers and nature. I'm constantly amazed and awed by the tinyness and the grandure, and the delicateness and the harshness of nature, can't get enough observation or contemplation of nature. I love doing Reike with people. I love cultivating friendships, and getting to know people. My husband and I enjoy singer songwriters and their music. We also enjoy playing card games, and searching out new restaurants wherever we go. We like to travel.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Telling everyone I meet about my daughter's (Nomad Poet) experiences all over the world as a couch surfer. I also attended a Tucson get together of couch surfers and met about ten of them plus several interested people and several travelers from Italy, California, Mexico, New Mexico, Canada and Germany, very interesting mixed ages and genders. It was a great time. I'm always more active in CS when my daughter is nearby or visiting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As child of a large extended family we used to cross the country staying with relatives that we hadn't previously met. It was great fun. When my daughter told me about CS I was immediately interested. Last fall she and I traveled through New Mexico to Wyoming and couchsurfed three different nights with two different women. The showed us great hospitality and conversation, and fun. I hope to make more trips soon.

Intereses

Nature, flowers, hiking, native cultures, spirituality, Yoga, reike, meditation, dance, new age music, travel, fantasy novels, movies, grandsons and adopted granddaughters, long conversations with friends and sharing friendships, chocolate, tea and mocha and puzzels, being warm and outdoors, hot tub on a starry night.
