ABOUT ME

I am currently living in Budapest but originally from Portland, Oregon. Every year I seem to change my life in some drastic measure, whether that's where I'm living or what job I'm doing. Here are a few different positions that I have held: pizza maker, bartender, archaeologist, researcher of dental morphology, teacher, beauty consultant, and account auditor. That may give you a little information about me.

For things other than a paycheck and 40 hours a week: I am interested in having a good time with my life. I am interested in chatting with just about anybody about just about anything. I'm rather opinionated but I know the right time to shut my mouth (that took many years to master).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I actually haven't stayed with anybody but I have had people stay with me while I was living in Ukraine. It was really great to meet new people and maintain a friendship with them.

I'm finding that the only movies I can watch have justice as their central theme.

I like a lot of different kinds of music. I think I'm most into Beirut and Fever Ray right now.

I like Heinrich Boll's books.

I'm pretty proud of myself for traveling alone for nearly a month from Kyiv to Istanbul in January.
