HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Once I saw a report about CS on TV and I thought that this is a nice way to travel the world with a low budget, so I applied. I like the idea of meeting people from all over the world and to travel the world without being just a tourist in a hotel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CSexperience wasn't quite a usual one. My dad was in hospital in Stuttgart, I wanted to visit him and needed a place to sleep. I found a fantastic host and was really glad to had a couch to sleep on.
And now, though I have only a small appartment, I want to host people from all over the world to share experiences, talk to and have fun.

Interessi

I love books and movies. I like to spend some time with my friends, I try to cook :-) and I am a long-distance-hiker. In 2009 I walked nearly 800 km on the Way of St. James through northern Spain and in 2010 I walked about 350 km on the Vía de la Plata from Seville up north. I never thought I would fall in love with a backpack, but mine is quite a comfortabe one... :-)

Walking many hundreds of kilometers on different Ways of St.James through Spain with a heavy backpack and in all weather conditions.
