ABOUT ME

About me? love people most of the time, sometimes like being on my own still trying to find out what I am really about, 'Discovering' I think is what I'm actually about.. people, places, music, culture, history, conversation, gorgeous food and wine, simple pleasures and the not so simple also, it's all fabulous.

PHILOSOPHY

I simply believe that as long as I wake up and see the sky each day grey or blue how fantastic is that..and that each day I must discover something new however trivial it may seem and absorb something everyday that is gorgeous (a thought, a feeling, a touch, a food simply anything..) and that also I can make a difference again now matter how small. Just to feel everything, and sharing thoughts and experiences with others is simply wonderful.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Want to just open up a little space in Wales for anyone who would be interested, and would like to share my knowledge and passion for Wales and at the same time share experiences with other hosts and guests, as I hope that other hosts would also be kind enough to share with me their passion for their culture and country or city, as this I beleive is what it should be about, not cheap or 'free' accomodation. If my time permits love to be your tour guide maybe for an evening or afternoon, also or help to plan your trip, and experience. Am hoping that I will meet some great people along the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have had some lovely messages and made contact with really nice people, it is very heart warming to experience such kindness and openess from people who are willing to share not just their homes but they're feelings and experiences.. wonderful. However not so keen on the requests to surf my couch on the same day!!! a little notice would be welcome and polite.

Interests

Oh my gosh would love to say that I played a musical instrument or sung in a choir! but I don't.. I just am such an appreciater of anything musical but have not one musical particle in me!. Love travel, culture and people, love dance and do a little of this salsa and others, am passionate about history and the ancient, adore opera, books are beautiful and are my saving grace, do love my job am tentative to reveal, but it does pay my way in life, and is part of who I am.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

OOoh so want to write something wonderful and cool, but as I see life as amazing in general it's difficult, the sun rises and sun sets each day and I try and simply live and feel each day, and I've seen lot's of gorgeous places that have simply left me with a vision and feeling forever, but for me the most amazing things that remain wih me will always be moments I've shared with people.

Teach, Learn, Share

Sharing is what I like to do, and from a CSurfing perspective it is this which I offer, I adore travel and all cultures, heritage, people and to learn and experience this from the people who live and breathe their city/country/heritage and culture is something very special, and this is why I would like to share my knowledge and experience about the land where I live, a truly special place Wales, the people, culture, history and food, we have a lovely heritage, huge passion and plenty of amazing places I would love to share with you.
