ABOUT ME

My journey through life so far has come with lots of questions and confusion but has led to more and more understanding and coincidences (if you want to call them that). This past fall, I discovered how much I loved traveling and having experiences with new places and people. For me, there are far to many amazing things going on in the world to stay completely in one particular place or lifestyle. I am very inspired about life! I have found that I experience the most growth in a different language or culture, which doesn't even necessarily mean a different city! I'm into music, growing, adventuring, dancing, chilling, hearing different perspectives and sharing ideas, and anything and everything else under the sun.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that every experience you have affects you in some way, and the more awareness you put into your actions and experiences the more you can gain from your life. People talk about wanting to make a difference, but we all make a difference through the choices and actions we take every day. We have a lot more power than we give ourselves credit for. I believe you can and do attract things into your life because I have experienced this myself but I do not yet have full understanding of this. I believe that we are here for a reason, and that is empowering.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed with friends of friends and friends of family in Brasil for three months. It was an incredibly special way to experience the culture and basic human kindness. It is great thing to be able to stay with good people and to share home with the same. It's the reason I joined CS!

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taking a trip into the Amazon Rainforest in Brasil to help collect medicinal plants. I saw a biodiversity that blew my mind.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning of language. I speak English, Portuguese, and pretty good Spanish, and I am always happy to share what I know and learn more. I was talking about Languages but this is a general theme also.
Music! I play guitar, and am really into it lately. Jam. I would also like to learn to express through more instruments. Handdrums specifically.
