About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learn as much as I can about the world.

ABOUT ME

I am a open minded, friendly and an adventurous individual. I love learning about other cultures, languages, religions and ways of life. I believe in the University of life and have been traveling and studying constantly, living in over 35 countries, volunteering and doing my best to give back.

I like to cook, am a musician traveling with my violin and am all for improvised jam sessions! I am big into snowboarding, mountaineering, climbing, trekking, diving, learning to surf and spending as much time as possible outdoors. I am interested in learning from Indigenous cultures and becoming an ally, as most of my work has been aligned with creating more diversity, inclusion and helping others access the resources they need. My current pursuits are studying yoga, pranayama/breathwork, massage, sound healing, wilderness therapy and social work.

PHILOSOPHY

I would like to experience something new each day, live in gratitude and serve others on their path of healing and growth.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed in the USA and UK, and have not yet had the opportunity to host other couch surfers as I have been traveling. I have met with many however, to show them my local mountain, places to explore and adventure in grand Teton National Park.

Music, Movies, and Books

Always changing 😉

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve climbed many mountains, almost got hypothermia and heat stroke on the same weather window in Patagonia to the Fitz Roy base camp, swam in the Ganges river while living in an ashram and volunteering with untouchable children in India, worked with landmine vicitims in Cambodia, built many water filters, got lost in the jungle overnight in Malaysia and swam with sharks to get home, joined a band in Hong Kong, was in a hip hop band in San Diego 😂, worked with many children and music therapy in South Africa, was stuck in a van for three days during a desert sand storm in the West Sahara, lived in a Moroccan cave for several months learning how to surf and cook with one tagine pot, worked with teenage boys in residential treatment base around wilderness therapy for 7 years, studied abroad in Israel, lived with barefoot natives in the jungles of Sumatra, I have done two silent vipassana meditation retreats-one in the jungle of Thailand, swam with more sharks with my favorite conservationist: Ocean Ramsy on Oahu, lived in Maui nannying for for wild jungle kids and paraglided off the summit of Haleakala crater, worked with plant medicines in the sacred valley of Peru, lots of scuba diving adventures, played music on the streets in Spain to make friends and avoid taking bay money out of my bank account, got stuck on the boarder of Nepal due to strikes and made some beautiful new friends while hiding from 115 degree heat every day, was on the summit of a volcano in Guatemala three days before in erupted and tragically killed 150 people, hitch-hiked and walked through mountains in the rain for 7 days in Chile- taking the “way the F off the beaten path” route back to Argentina, survived many rugged 3rd class economy bus/train/plane rides, taught music in many cultures, and have learned a whole lot about myself and this wide world while being very resourceful on a show-string, and paying it forward to the best of my ability.
