Hi, we are Liza and Tom, a couple living in the burbs of Vancouver. We make music together under the name of the Wind Whistles, a project that keeps us traveling and meeting people all the time. We love meeting generous and creative people and we give back as much as we can whenever we can. Don't hesitate to get in touch with us even if our couch may not be available!

When we tour we sleep on a lot of couches, though we rarely have to rely on this site. When we're home we host as much as we can. We've had out butts saved by Couchsurfing a few times in the past, so we need to return the favor. Read on...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

On July 6th 2008, 12:30AM, we rolled into downtown Manchester on a train, soaked, muddy, sick and completely demoralized after playing a depressing set at a festival in Wales. Expecting to sleep on a bench somewhere in the rainy streets, we turned on our mini PC to find not only an internet signal, but a phone number from a CS host. Couchsurfing saved us that night in an unimaginable way.
