ABOUT ME

I am a girl who likes to smile, laugh and play as much as possible. And I like variety and trying new things. I am always the one who tries the weird flavor in a coffe shop (I remember trying a cold mandarin and something else coffee, wouach!), but is still happy because I have tried it. I also like originality. It can be in people, in crafts, in a different way of thinking, anything that when you look at it you say to yourself that's something I would have never thought about!

I really enjoyed seeing their city or place through their own eyes. I think it gives you a view of the place and the person. I think it is a precious gift when someone really lets you reach his feelings and thoughts, related or not to the place where we are. So here I am.

Music: I usually prefer indie rock music and Quebec music : Metric, The Bravery, The Stills, Arcade Fire, Auf der Maur, Malajube, Yann Perreau, Arianne Moffat, Dumas, Björk, Goldfrapp
Movies: I used to love psychological dramas that were personal and creative movies that can reach me and give me a different point of view. But now, it semms that I have enough dramas at my job and I tend to prefer to watch movies that are more relaxing and funny! Strings, Paprika, Mononoke Princess, Quills, Little Children, American Beauty, La mala educacion, Life of others, Das experiment, Crazy...
Books: I am still very fond of contemporary authors from Quebec. But usually I just go to the library to pick up a book, try it and finish it or not, depending. But you really have to wait 100 pages before stopping it, just in case.

Of the more amazing things I usually do, I say something I am thinking even if I know that it will sound weird to the person in front of me. Usually I then have a great laugh on my own or with the other person. Some people really like it, some can't stand it. Depends on you.

I am dancing swing, blues and I would love to introduce people to it, it's so much fun!
cooking: We eat three times per day and it is a lot. So why not take the time to try new recipes from everywhere and everyone?
I am really fond of the Quebec culture (book, music,...). So I like to explain my views to others, but also learn what it is like elsewhere. It could be a different way of thinking or of doing something, like a health care system, political parties...
Crafts: I like doing mosaic, inventing jewelleries, sewing ... I would like to initiate others into these creative activities, as I would like to learn new ones. I would like to learn knitting.
