ABOUT ME

Back Porch (www.backporchenergy.org) is traveling around the American Southeast for 10 months on a trailer fueled by waste vegetable oil (grease). We are visiting 10 states in the American south offering educational programming, energy consultation, and other services to rural and underserved communities. The hardest part of our trip is to find affordable and safe places to stay while we are doing our work.

We are super fun and easy going. If you let us stay with you or park in your back yard we will give you a free energy consultation of your house!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have a trailer that is traveling constantly so if you need a ride, please shoot us an email. We also need places to park our trailer as we journey. When we set up office in central Virginia in September, all couch surfers are welcome!
