ABOUT ME

Hi There:)

I am Tini, 26 years old from the North of Germany and eager to travel, see the most, make the most of every day and enjoy life with all its possibilities. I like people, people are just my thing ;) I like talking, listening, laughing, spending time together :)I enjoy life and take it as a present you can be robbed each day...

I am into nature, culture, countries, people, literature, art, politics,theatre, the English language ( I love the way English sounds), children, teaching, sea (looooove the sea, wherever water is I feel somehow home), movies, obviously travelling, spending time with loved ones, cooking, swimming and and and... (this list could probably go on for ages- there are so many good and interesting things in life and so little time- it is a shame;) )

I am open-minded, curious, warm-hearted (at least I hope so;) ),easy-going, always there for my friends, ambitious in my studies, nearly always smiling:)))I truly believe that you should treat other people the way you would like to be treated:)

I definitely have a taste for nice things (food, architecture, books, jewellery, fashion, landscapes etc.)and love being surrounded by beautiful things.
I absolutely think that the small things in life are what matter i.e. a stunning sunset/sunrise, a lovely smelling lavender field, a rough sea, the smell of freshly baked apple pie, a nice dress, a cold glass of white wine etc.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I let people surf my couch if they want to. I show people around and try to be a helping hand when it comes to Oldenburg. I love meeting new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed quite a few couches in Ireland and every experience has been great. I met fantastic, fun- loving, caring people.

I made friends for life in different parts of the world. This surely wouldn't have happened without couchsurfing.com. I am very grateful that I've found this page. Couchsurfing definitely enriched my life! Hopefully lots of more great experiences to come :)

Interesses

I am interested in meeting people from different countries. I'm interested in the world and what's going on here. I'd like to get to know the various cultures and their habits.
I also enjoy having a good time with my friends. I love the sea, the sun and being outside (nature in general)as well as reading a good book, watching a great movie, enjoying a concert or going to the theatre. I like music, clubbing,having lots of people around me, but either I don't mind having a quiet eve with friends, just chill out and relax :)I love cooking and having dinner with friends- a good glass of white/rose wine is always appreciated and new food will always be tried even if not always loved immediately;) I believe you should try everything at least once :) I do love farmer's markets and food blogs. Love challenging my taste buds ;)
Swimming is one of my fav things. It clears my mind :)
I like organizing children camps and being an active part of a community.
I do love beautiful things (art, good movies, books, fashion, jewellery)
Just the mixture of stuff what life makes so good :)

Music: Bon Jovi, Adele ( I have a crush on her), BOY, Razorlight, Grönemeyer,Metallica,U2,REM,Soundtracks, Wise guys,Robbie,Brian Brody (an Irish musican who plays in the O'Sullivans Pub in Dublin),Katie Melua, Aretha Franklin, Cat Stevens, David Gray, Michael Buble,The Killers etc.
It depends on the situation but I do find classical music quite relaxing.
books: just a selection: Harry Potter, Pride and prejudice, Romeo and Juliet, Buddenbrooks,Shantaram Twilight, Wir Kinder aus Bullerbü, The old man and the sea,Der Alchemist,Lonely Planets etc. I love books and do read nearly every day. This is really just a brief summary. Also love reading food and plus size fashion blogs ;)
movies: The holiday, cast away, Ps. I love you, Notting hill quite a lot of quick flicks really. But also German and french arty movies ;) Julie and Julia, The Help, Love the English 70's Tv show Fawlty towers and Grey's anatomy. List could go on...

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

I spent a year in Ireland, which was absolutely grand;)I even got used to the rainy weather :)I could write lots of lines about Ireland. Just ask if you want to know something special about a region and I hope I can help u out :)
I also lived a year in London, working as a nanny, baby yoga teacher and chocolate praline maker. Found the love of my life, moved in with him, took him back with me to Germany where we are living at the moment. Love London's diversity-a city that never sleeps, love the style, the English humor, parks, wellies, scones, pubs, Lake District as well as Cornwall. One could say I left a part of my heart in England. Could really imagine growing old in a cottage in Wimbledon village. Oh I am starting to ramble ;)

I think every person can learn the best when having fun. So meeting people, talking and learning- couldn't it be any better? :)
I'd like to talk English more often because in university we aren't talking so much. If one learns German and wants to talk, I'd like to be a helping hand.
And lastly sharing time and getting to know each other is always an enrichment;)
