ABOUT ME

21 years old. study history and environmental studies in new york city, which may seem strange to some (including me most of the time). i'm very independent but enjoy good company. i want to grab a backpack and explore as much as i can on foot and bike. the slower and more spontaneous the travel the more i can see and become involved. i hope to never live anywhere for more than a few years.

let's see...just about everything and anything that i have and haven't tried, seen, felt, heard... snowboarding, soccer/football, good books (mostly non-fiction), practical art, creative art, knitting, good conversation, spicy food, all food, water (oceans, lakes, rivers...everything aquatic), photography, figure skating, being outdoors, hiking, camping, philosophy, places rich in culture, history and tradition, warm weather, cold weather, colorful textiles, farms, music, especially live music, learning to play new instruments (which is really any instrument) cooking, learning new things

Music, Movies, and Books

mostly non-fiction, history and science are favorite topics, russian literature, african literature (especially ngugi wa thiongo); music interests include bits and pieces of just about everything with the exception of country...there is music for every mood, and a lot of good stuff out there;
