COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Did you know Couch Surfing has a predecessor, which was founded in 1948?

Have you heard about SERVAS? My parents met each other through this organisation SERVAS, which was basically the same concept, except for everything happened through good old letters, paper maps and landline phones. Since I was a little girl my family always travelled with this. With the internet emerging, Couch Surfing was the natural extension.

I've moved out at fifteen, and since then been hosting and surfing sofas, leaving me with many interesting memories.
