ABOUT ME

I am a truly inquisitive person. I love people and all the stories they have. I am a jazz vocalist, an explorer, a student, and a mother to the sweetest boy you'll ever meet. People were meant to live life with each other, to share life and joy. I really believe that. I have a heart for diverse cultures and seeing people truly immersed in them. I love Jesus and I believe that his heart was / is for all people. I believe that by following him, I have a responsibility to give of what I have-- because nothing I own is "mine" to begin with. I see it all as a gift to be shared.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd love to just get to know people. You're welcome in my home, and I'll do as much as I can to make you feel welcome in my city :). Columbus is a great place, and I'm growing and learning here myself as much as I like to show people around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's been awesome so far :). All the surfers I've hosted have been lovely and such a sweet addition to my journey. I'm honored to host and to share what I have with you.

Intereses

Singing, dancing, reading, walking, traveling, different kinds of foods... anything mentally stimulating. I'm a clinical mental health graduate student so I am very interested in anything related to mental health.

Música, películas y libros

Absolutely any kind of music has its place with me. I'm especially into jazz and country. I've always been a movie buff. My favorites include: Braveheart, Gladiator, Finding Neverland, Good Will Hunting, the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, and American Beauty.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I once traveled from Southern Cali all the way up to Canada and back over a summer; stopping at churches and community places along the way to just help and love on people. That was hands down the best experience of my life.

I've had quite a bit of experience in the world of music and dance. I've sang in various jazz clubs, and I always make it a personal priority to go explore random concerts so that I can continuously be inspired by new music. I honestly think that there is nothing more beautiful in this world than someone willing to love and teach someone else; to put someone above themselves. That's what we're here for. I just want to know people, understand people, and leave a trail of joy as I walk. I don't mean to sound overwhelmingly happy and obnoxious, but I do find great value in seeing and sharing the beauty in life.
