ABOUT ME

You can tell a lot by my list of favorite things: shopping, spa days, romantic comedies, cupcakes, and cocktails with umbrellas in them (Yep, very girly!), karaoke, disco, bowling, dancing, horoscopes and reality TV (Very cheesy too!), period epics, scrabble, books on English grammar and usage and silly hypothetical questions that go on and on (Geeky!). I love traveling - do lots of it, in fact - but my favorite part is coming back home to the people I love.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: romantic comedies like Amelie and When Harry Met Sally and period pieces like Elizabeth and Atonement. Even better if it's a combination of the two like Shakespeare in Love and Pride and Prejudice. Oh, I also liked Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind and 80's teen angst movies like Breakfast Club, The Sure Thing and Some Kind of Wonderful.

Music: 80's music, female acoustic artists, r&b, alternative, glam rock

Books: Time Traveler's Wife, Einstein's Dreams, Prydain Chronicles, travel books, Joel Osteen books

TV: Right now, I am doing a marathon of Pushing Daisies. It feels like a morbid fairy tale. Aside from that, I watch Style Her Famous, Dress My Nest, Extreme Makeover Home Edition (A tearjerker!), Project Runway, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, travel shows. And for some unexplainable reason, I'm glued to reality TV. Go figure!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I try to do something daring (at least, for me) once a year. So far, I've gone on a hot air balloon, white-water rafting and surfing. I plan to do the Sky Walk in Macau next.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach anything to do with Business Communication: Business Writing, Business Presentations, Cross-cultural Training, etc. I'd like to learn how to cook (Only easy yet still tasty dishes please!).
