ABOUT ME

We are a couple from the netherlands. We left the 1st of november 2006 with a one-way ticket to New Zealand and we're slowly working our way home. Our aim is to see as many countries as possible and meet lots of people.

We came back from our 19 month trip in the middle of 2008 and now we are re-integrated into 'normal' life. We both found good jobs and we are enjoying life to the fullest

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Most of the people we stayed are great people who are our friends now. happy to have met them.

We had one bad experience where hosts left us a negative reference after we left but did not tell us about any wrongdoing when we were with them. They actually pretented to like us but were annoyed about ridiculous small things. Honesty is an important character feature. If we do something wrong tell us immediately and not afterwards when it is too late!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

skydiving and we would never EVER do it again. still amazed how we didn't shit ourselves :) ... it was cool though :)
