Go hide on an island for the summer...
Sorry. That's personal.
My philosophy? Right this second?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have and have had.
I keep using it so that must say something
The smell of the first few seconds of rain, live music, guitar/bass, napping, laughing, hiking, biking (whenever possible rather than driving. I'm so not the spandex and speed or extreme mountain biker you're looking for, no offense. Can't remember the last time I was actually hiking either, go figure), photography, knitting, reading whenever I can but not often enough, the feel of walking through fog on my skin, organic gardening, brutal sarcasm, black comedy, wine drinking, single malt sipping, occasional strange liqueur and beer making, sunsets/rises without sleep inbtwn, pots of tea in cozy bookstores, cooking, eating things I didn't have to cook, relying on less, hopefully working less soon & seeing/being more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. Skydiving...cannot be explained.
OK, 2. Doing nothing at all in the Blue Lagoon as part of an airport layover just outside Reykjavik,Iceland. Sure, I'm told it's industrial run off, but I was diggin it. Nestled in its heat, seeing thru its steam, the freezing sound of the chapping wind...ahhh...lemme go'n find my passport.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn more about alternative bldg/energy. Still dream of building my own little place with a big view someday...
I'm equal heaping parts Bob Vila & Martha Stewart, so if you need to tile a floor or knit a sweater, make a bookcase or lilac wine, weld a trellis or decorate a cake, I'm yer gal. OK, I haven't welded in years, but still...
