About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Freedom is what you do with what's been done to you.
ABOUT ME
I work full time for a non-profit francophone organization. I basically help new comers settle in this community, which includes advocating for them on a regular basis and interpreting for them. I'm also a part of an organization that teaches kids about their rights from an empowerment approach in the form of taking over and completely changing the dynamic of a classroom for a few hours a day and engaging them in an intelligent conversation about social injustice. Sounds heavy but it's really fun and I really like bicycling and walking. I volunteer at a bike co-op learning how to and fixing bikes.
I really dig lengthly conversations and I'm usually absolutely amazed by people. I value honesty and cooperation the most so I mean, if you can be honest we can get along.
PHILOSOPHY
Tout le monde a le droit d'être en sécurité, fort.e, et libre
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I did a tour of the East coast with my friend and right before leaving we found out about CouchSurfing. We had an amazing trip and met really great people! It really is a different experience when you have that kind of contact with local people who you usually have alot in common with. I'm excited to be a part of the community and hope I can give others the same kind of warm welcome and safe place to rest that I received!
