ABOUT ME

Caro: Born in Amos (Abitibi, QC), unfortunetly never saw this beautyful place since then! I've been living in Montreal since I was a child. My recent diploma certified that I'm a visual artist, so maybe my occupation is to be a visual artist... I work in an artists center for the art of printmaking. When working for myself, I draw, sculpt and do other artsy stuff. The rest of the time, I do outdoor activities or share a meal with friends.

Yann: ***in progress***As far as work goes, I like to pretend that my main activity is to work as a musical coordinator for CHOQ, my university's radio station, but the truth is that I also have to work for Canada Post to pay my bills. I also participate in two completely different radio shows

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We'd like a few days hosting or guiding experience, cause we beleve that it more interesting to share a couple of days with a traveler, just to introduce him to our friends, show the place around and sizing the interests of the surfer... It's good like that, because a CS experience can open on friendship.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Many wonderful experiences in France that completely changed the way our trip has been. Thanks to everyone (couchsurfing hosts and personnal friends) that welcomes us so generously.

Not enough hosting experience! Wishing now to return the chance we had to the CS community as well

Some of my favorite artists would be Bob Dylan, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Sonic Youth, Radiohead, Anathema, Black Sabbath, Agalloch, Ulver, Charles Mingus and countless others. From Doom metal to Jazz and from Folk to Noise, I'm obsessively curious about everything, so don't hesitate to suggest me stuff you think I would like.
As far as books goes, I've always loved reading biographies about musicians, visual artists and other important figures, cultural ones mostly. I like history books, too. Lately, I've been slowly getting into more fictional stuff, but I don't really know my classics yet. Suggestions are welcome!
