About Me

CURRENT MISSION

get out of Melbourne

ABOUT ME

I ride bicycles and read books as often as i eat. I need to play/ listen to music, and to write write write. My studies have been in history, politics, a little art history, creative writing and social theory. It's essential to my sanity to skip cities and go camp somewhere in the bush and generally not do much at all at times..swimmin, exploring, eating.

PHILOSOPHY

exchange, engage, connect.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had a couple of couchsurfers stay at my home in Melbourne as one of my ex-housemates was a dedicated CS-er. It was interesting and fun. I've stayed on couches in the US and in Italy so far and all the experiences were just actually very, very nice and fun and interesting and so on.

Interests

Politics, art, historical moments I wish I'd witnessed, bikes, everything gastronomical, animals, DIY, mending over ending, critical mental health studies and activism, Doctor Who, people's history, music (collecting records, seeing shows, playing).

Movies: Anything by hayako miyazaki, Le Haine, A bout de souffle, Mad Max 2, old Australian road movies, Wind and the Willows.
Music: lots. Spent most of my teen years listening to jazz records: Lester Young, Charles Mingus, Eric Dolphy. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

TRaipsed around the Sierra Nevadas under giant red wood trees that made me feel like a snotty kid... organised alongside leading activists ... Played saxophone on stage with ernest ranglin... the movie 'Mad Max 1 + 2'.
