ABOUT ME

I like long beginnings and fast goodbyes, drinking milk. I pretend to know the answers when it's not my turn in Trivial Pursuit, and I tend to get very nervous around overly optimistic people. I'm really quite empathic, but often manage to hide it. When I sit down, I put my feet up. If I'm ever married and have kids, I want a cat too. I have absolutely no time for cellery, electronics that does not work, and people who do not think they have any prejudices. I love drinking buckets of coffee and wine and staying up late (oh yes, there is a connection).I study literature and culture at university, which is frighfully rewarding and pure evil in equal meassures. I don't know what I'm going to be when I grow up, but I guess its all about doing something. Preferably with benefits for others as well.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't think any one person has got it quite right yet. Until someone does: behave!

I'm on the brink of participation, as it is. Arriving in Chicago on July 18th at 16:40, and from then on, there is no stopping me. Weeeeee! CouchSurfers of the US of A, here I come to feed on your hospitality.

As you see, I have 2 weaknesses- the modernists and emotional pornography.Music: Jeff Buckley, Nick Cave, Coldplay, Damien Rice, Air, Nephew, The Beatles (oh yeah!), Mark Ronson, Nick Cave, Supertramp, TV2, tidlig Thomas Helmig and Prince. I still feel the effects of having an older sister born in the early 70s.Movies: Any BBC adaptation of the good ol' classics. City films from the 1920s. The Coen Brothers. Charlie Kaufman. Stranger Than Fiction. Just about anything flies, really.

Cruising the Nile in the late afternoons. A light breeze, palmtrees along the banks, and the Sahara stretching into infinity. Good times.
