ABOUT ME

We are a small independent record label with a few staple artists who are working together to promote each other and their music, while working within communities to build relationships with the the land and the people.

Super Solar Sounds Mission Statement:

Since its beginning, Super Solar Sounds has been a homegrown business for wholistically inspired, self-initiated careers in musical artistry, achieving goals through as many culturally and environmentally accountable means as possible.

This translates to using fewer resources, making more art, and moving beyond empty clichés such as 'less is more.' Our philosophy and actions are devoted toward personal, cultural and musical involvement and impact within the communities and ecosystems where our company is welcomed.

Touring this summer will be artists Cahalen David Morrison and Sven Hooson. We will be headed back to the Southwest region, playing various places in Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah.

We would love to meet you, to crash on your couch and floor, and to learn a bit more about you. Perhaps we'll even play you some music along the way! Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are new to official couch surfing but last summer on tour in the southwest region we had a great time connecting with new and old friends who opened their doors and shared their lives with us, even if only for one day. We would love to incorporate building new relationships into our tour route.

Music, Movies, and Books

Obviously we love music but we always prefer live music. It allows both the artist and the listener and chance to connect to the music in unique ways.

Our music find its place among other contemporary Americana, Folk, Acoustic music of today.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cahalen lived in India for 6 months and studied various forms of music and academics while immersing himself in the culture there.
