ABOUT ME
I'd be up all night if I were to write "all about" me. In a few short words, I'm in love with life. Everything I do--from studying philosophies to scaling rock walls--is done with the ardent fervor of a cracked-up marmocet (but maybe a bit more calculated).
Right now I'm just trying to see as much of this world as I can. This can be literal, as in travel, or simply exploring the metaphysical plains of existence. The point is to gain new perspectives and broaden the horizon evermore.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I haven't yet hosted. I look forward to the opportunity when I finally get my own place. I've surfed on 3 continents. Hope to get the fourth soon.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Last summer I surfed across the southern United States and met lots of great hosts and fellow surfers. We caught some blues on Beale St. in Memphis, toured historic Charleston, partied on Bourbon St. in New Orleans, and took a lazy float tour down a San Antonio river.
More recently, I've had short stays with gracious hosts in Uruguay and Egypt.
Everyone has been great and I can't thank them enough. Couchsurfing.com is the most revolutionary concept ever to hit personal travel.

Bathed in the aurora borealis (northern lights) in Alberta; trekked the remote Tasmanian wilderness (and witnessed what has to be the clearest night sky on the planet); climbed Mt. Washington, NH in the middle of February (-20 F with 40 mph winds); quit my desk job; looked down on the world from the lofty Aconcagua, highest point outside of the Himalaya; mourned the Morning Star as she fell over Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia; watched the sun rise over Salar de Uyuni
