Wow...back on the amazing Couchsurfing website after my first time 6 years ago. Time flies! Yet again...time to leave the office job behind and set out on a new adventure! This time cycling from Alaska to Mexico with a friend. 4000+ miles, a tent and hopefully lots of interesting people along the way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Having heard about Couchsurfing from a friend, I can't think of a better way to bring this world of ours closer together.

I will be travelling, but when back in the UK I will look forward to hosting myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The spontaneous unplanned moments are always the ones you remember, often rising out of disasters! The most memorable experience I have is missing a weekly ferry in Croatia, and being taken in by a wonderful lady working in a food hut at the port. She told me some incredible, sometimes horiffying stories of her life, and her genorousity and humility reminded me of the good in people when I was beginning to doubt it.

Having as cold beer, with good company and great conversation!! I also love music (listening/playing/dancing to it :)), being outdoors, drinking coffee, and getting lost

音乐、电影和书籍

MUSIC: Music brings people together and different bands and genres remind me of diffent times in my life. I love allsorts of music, punk, indie, ska, folk, electro & I'm always up for going to gigs! My fave bands include The Cure, The Faint,Patrick Wolf, Le Tigre, Regina Spector, Jeffrey Lewis, DRopkick Murphys, The Clash, The Specials, Fischerspoone DFA 1979, CSS, and many many more!

BOOKS: Jack keourac, George Orwell, Bret Easton Ellis & Hubert Selby Jr are my staples.

MOVIES: I like more independent films than the big blockbusters (The Edukators, Rules of Attraction, Garden state, Requiem for a Dream, Big Lebowski, Pedro Almadovar, etc), but have definelty been known to watch a cheesy chick flick or 2 in my time!

I'm eager to learn anything that people can teach me! I hope I have something to offer people too I enjoy cooking and though I'm not very good I would love to cook for my hosts!
