ABOUT ME

My favorite word is awesome. It's what I aspire to be, and I tend to befriend people who are tremendously awesome. My second favorite word is awkward. I just graduated from university, so now I'm taking some time to travel before settling down with a real job. I'm pretty laid back, prefer bars to clubs, absolutely despise overcrowded places, and am a poor dancer (but I still do it!). I'm a bit of a music snob, love art (though I know little about it), and love cinema. I'm also known for developing 'friend crushes,' on people I'd like to be friends with.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat others as you'd like to be treated. That's pretty much my religion.

I'm aspiring to lead my life based on the idea that 'You only live once;' so we'll see how that goes.

Interests

Lots and lots. I love music and film, and probably watch a bit too much television (best distraction from studying!). I'm incredibly concerned about extreme poverty and the AIDS epidemic, so I find myself reading bunches about those.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh my gosh, so many. It changes pretty much every other day.

Music: She & Him, Beirut, The Raconteurs, the Beatles, Queen, Cold War Kids, and bunches more.

Movies: The Usual Suspects, Boondock Saints, Snatch, as well as some ridiculously embarrassing/childish films such as Finding Nemo, Ratatouille, etc.

Books: Anything by Vonnegut, right now I'm reading Brief Interviews with Hideous Men. Again as well there are some ridiculously embarrassing books that I am not going to mention. :)
