Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I must say something: I don't have a couch ! I have a bed, a mattress and a floor, but NO couch ! Am I illegal here now ?
I'm moving at the moment, so my 2 rooms have less furnitures. I'm in no hurry (so if I give you a confirmation, you're really welcome), and a bed will be there for you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

- Went with a close friend to France for 8 days without any CS-experience. Stayed in Montpellier for one night at J-Ms flat and in Antibes for one night in Florians and then at Romains living-community. We also met Michael and others on a CS-Meeting in Antibes.
- I rescued Oskar from China who got lost in a train without the original-ticket (1 night)
- Paddy, who chanted Nam Myo-Ho Renge-Kyo with us (1 night), and sent a nice package after he returned to England
- Isabela and her friend Andreja from Brasil/Russia - we had a great time, Andreja fell in love with my cooking pot, we went to a playground and a visual-illusions-exhibition. I invited them for dinner, we took much pics and they agreed that they enjoyed my non-sightseeing place more than those famous places they visited during their journey (6 nights).
- Then I stayed at Saschas place in Berlin for 3 nights. So nice with him, his wife and their children.
- Around new year 2008/09 I hosted 4 people from Malaysia who came back to me after a few days ;-o.
- Then I hosted Kristina from Slowenia, who wrote "Hvala" in my guestbook.
- Henrique and his sister Cintiamk from Brasil/Ireland got in touch with me, and we spent an evening in an Irish Pub.
- I also hosted a brother & sister on their very first journey out of Greece. We had just very spare time for a walk to the river before they had to go to sleep.
- Adriana and Leonardo, a couple from Spain, stayed just for one night, but we spent much time together and I showed them some places in Frankfurt.
- A real great guest was Chun Chun from China. We had such a good time, went out, talked very close, but then she had to leave much too soon...
- After a long break with CS a friend and I decided to go to Berlin and stayed there for one night at Beate's and her dog's place
- At this time I decided to open my place for visitors again and hosted Hana from Morocco for two nights. She also brought a friend to stay for the 2nd night
- Due to the hot phase of my moving situation, my place is currently closed. But I may have time for a meeting...

...... I also discovered, that some of my Frankfurt-friends are here at CS. So greetings to Verena, Lisa and Karin :-)
