I am laid back sort, Like my beer and sport. Love living on the West Coast of New Zealand with it's awesome scenery and outdoor activities and friendly people. I am proud of being a teacher and part of a small comunity.

PHILOSOPHY

Haven't really thought that hard. Just the old sayings- treat others as you would like to be treated. What goes around comes around.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I already know some of the people who offer CS in Greymouth and Hokitika.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My flatemate is Bredon Breeze and friend Shawm Batey and Shayne Moore from Hokitika have used the site in the past, I have been a flatemate when many of Brendon's and Shawns CS have come through. I have enjoyed the odd drink, laugh and conversation. I joined because as it was a rainy day And felt like playing on the internet. And Brendon has been to slack to allow surfers at moment. I am hoping to couch surf in the states or europe myself soon and thought it only fair to offer our house again in the meantimne.

Not much of a reader although I did enjoy reading "Shantaram" by Gregory David Roberts. I prefer to read non-fiction and Science/educational texts as geeky as that sounds.

Music I always like the Roots-Reggae, Dub,old school rock, going through a phase of listening to 60/70s Classics( as it is the only radio station I can get at work and in the car on the Coast!). Used to be a big fan of Joy division, Pixies etc getting over that now.

Movies. Not a huge movie buff the old westerns, Kiwi/aussie films. Do not like the fantasy genre eg lord of the rings.
