ABOUT ME

Hello my name is Arno.! My experience with CS started long time ago. First I hosted to learn English and meet people, then later I travelled once every year for a while using CS sometimes.
I am now settled in south of France since 2 years now.

Still travelling and more and more interesting and curious about food, food culture… It’s a such a nice way to explore a country and meet people through exchange around FOOD!! I am a cook and a baker also help friends to make wine. I am currently looking for a place to open a restaurant. It’s very inspiring when you travel and discover new dishes, flavors.
If I have a dream, it could be to open a treehouse restaurant and the cuisine will be influenced by dishes i have enjoyed during travels…. there will probably also be a cocktail bar in the tree next door;)!!
This is just a dream but it gives me a purpose to discover the world, try new dishes, cook, find trees and drink more cocktails :)
Maybe I will never realise my dream but I am convinced on my road I will learn a lot and have the best journey :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was flighting back to London from New York but Hurricane Sandy arrived and canceled my flight. So I stayed one extra week in NYC without light, electricity, but I had a very and unforgettable time!!
