ABOUT ME

Sorry I was not into hosting or entering into the CS universe for a few years!! Back on track again...
My friends could analyze better my own strengths and weaknesses, but since is my turn I guess I should give some tips first… I’ll do my best to be objective! Mayte is someone friendly, easy-going, open-minded, communicative, with strong character but flexible, with a positive attitude, caring, addicted to my pets, closed to my family, a bit stubborn, emotional, explosive, frank, sincere, with strong values, attached to my hometown Girona, missing my father who died years ago, actively involved with a dog shelter.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Many travellers surfed at my place, while I was living in Girona near the airport, but I moved a couple of years ago and did not use CS at all!!

My experience in surfing has been very enjoyable and surprisingly positive through South of France last year and South America this Summer!!

Interests

I'm currently employed and very involved in cooperating with an animal shelter, trying to get support and new families for the animals in the shelter, and in my free-time I enjoy travelling when possible, try different cuisines, enjoy a nice evening around a table with a glass of red wine, people agree I inherited my mum's good cooking, and if enough time I love to spend time in the kitchen to invite my friends around and have a taste, after so much time invested it's a must to practice conversation in different languages, I rather have the music on at home that TV!!! ...
