ABOUT ME

I am a very passionate person and love to be constantly learning about the world. I grew up in the US and have lived in AU, Canada, and Thailand since 2008...where I'll end up is still a mystery :)

I have left part of my heart in a small Shan village in Thailand and cannot wait to be back there...it is the people in this village who have shown me the deepest form of compassion and love imaginable...They are heroes everyday. If I can project just a little of what they taught me onto the world then Ill be doing well.

refugee rights, gay rights, and indigenous rights are three of my passions...but when my mind stops racing I love a bit of soccer and lacrosse, creating various forms of art, trekking/hiking, and teaching myself the guitar.
