I'm hoping to start a PhD in philosophy next year, meanwhile I've come to Nice to improve my french and seek work teaching english. I'm an enthusiastic culture junkie - enjoying Nice's museums and hoping to find some good music soon.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm still looking - I want to negotiate my ideal of freedom with the reality of my duty to others. This is the focus of my work and my life.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One autumn day, when I was living in the country, the surface of the bay I was living at had frozen and then the ice had been broken up by the waves. Each shard of ice, approximately a square foot large, was pushed under the edge of the one beside it, closer to the shore, so that the whole bay was covered in what looked like glass scales. With each wave that came in they moved over its surface and made an inimitable sound.

What would I like to learn? my main purpose here is to perfect my french, so if we can speak in french, that would be great. I also need to start learning German. guitar, I'd love to learn to play a little guitar.
