About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission, that I have chosen to accept, is to explore the many facets that is the culture and land of the United States of America.
ABOUT ME
Try me on Facebook - Jared Hunt from Australia, should be easy to find. My pic looks like I'm hiding!
PHILOSOPHY
I don't have a specific, organised description on the world yet. I am still trying to figure that, and myself out before I make a calculated decision on the third rock from the sun.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment, being a student studying abroad, I am looking to build friendships and experience the everyday American by living with them, and sleeping on their couch. It will be a good way to see how different people live and view their country. When I get back home, and find a place to stay, anyone is welcome. Mi casa e su casa!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Absolute beginner. Never tried it, never seen it, know of one person who has done it.
Interests
Pretty much everything. Some top ones would include snowboarding, all kinds of sports, making friends from all over the world!
- culture
- surfing
- snowboarding
- sports
Music, Movies, and Books
- Anything sci-fi, comedy, action, some chic-flicks..
- Music taste is all over the joint. Depends on the mood I am in. Up beat stuff is always good. Maroon 5, Michael Buble, Santana, Hilltop Hoods, Fall Out Boy...etc etc.
- I haven't read a terribly large amount of books, except those I need to for classes and study.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think the best and most amazing thing I have done is come to America on my own to study for a whole year.
For what I have seen, I don't think I can pin down anything in particular.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am an Australian. So when I am surfing, anything people don't know about Australia, I will answer to the best of my knowledge!
In terms of what I want to learn....as much as I can about as much as I can.
Countries I’ve Visited
New Zealand, United States
Countries I’ve Lived In
Australia
