I've found couchsurfers to be great people and will continue to host when I can. I think I prefer hosting over surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Crashing at Lizzie's place for a week in Senegal. 5 minute walk to the surf. Using Google translate to attempt basic communication with Alex was interesting.
