About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to travel around the world and connect with as many people and cultures as possible. I also plan on getting my masters in Human Services and changing the world.

ABOUT ME

I have a love for life that I wish everyone shared. I love to spend time with friends, go on adventures including hiking, biking, swimming, floating down the river, climbing trees, road trips, and travel. I also love spending time with children, as I work with babies and I volunteer with toddlers. I enjoy educating myself by learning in school, and through experience. I believe that it is incredibly important to spend time bettering yourself as a person, as I see no reason not to try to live up to my potential each and everyday. I enjoy nothing more than meeting new people and learning about their life experiences because there is so much value in peoples differences.

PHILOSOPHY

-an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.
-BE THE CHANGE THAT YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD.

Teach, Learn, Share

I volunteer at a hand-full of organizations. In seattle I volunteer for a mental health hotline for teens, answering calls and offering support. I also volunteer for a youth tutoring program, helping children in reading and math. Here in Eugene I volunteer for the Relief Nursery, which is an organization that does parenting class and respite for abusive parents. I also volunteer for Sexual Assault Support Services, working as a phone worker and support person for abused woman. On top of all that I work at a child development center with infants, which is just plain fun!
