PHILOSOPHY

Energy, Chi, God, its all the same thing - We are all connected and each have the power of compassion, peace and overcoming adversity. One of my favourite quotes is by Primo Levi:

"...the sea's only gifts are harsh blows and, occasionally, the chance to feel strong. Now, I don't know much about the sea, but I do know that that's the way it is here. And I also know how important it is in life not necessarily to be strong but to feel strong, to measure yourself at least once, to find yourself at least once in the most ancient of human conditions, facing blind, deaf stone alone, with nothing to help you but your own hands and your own head..."

So I guess what I am trying to say in a (very)long winded kind of way, is that my philosophy is: You make your own happiness and living in the moment is all you can do.

Completely new to CS but looking forward to lots of wonderful adventures ahead!

Interests

I love art, eating - especially seafood, travel, good design, textiles, film, music and all things creative.

I am also a keen walker, love nothing better than a hike up a mountain and all that lovely outdoorsy stuff - fresh air, dramatic scenery and wide open spaces to feel grounded in. I do Tai Chi and meditation too, just to keep me sane...
