One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once upon a time while working for the Conservation Dept I met a chemist headed to the Amazon rainforest to hunt black crocodile. He was leaving in a week and jokingly told me I could accompany him if I wished to do so. That night at my second job wiping down the bar I discussed my dream to be able to go on the trip with one of my regular customers. Instead of leaving me the usual five dollar tip, he left an envelope with a note behind. The note read: If you ever want to pay me back, do something nice for somebody else. Inside the envelope was $1,000.00. That moment in my life I was given a gift, an opportunity, and a responsibility all at once. Every day now I try to do something nice for someone on a small scale and I'm just waiting for the moment to present itself than I can do something big, something equivalent to one thousand dollars plus compounding interest...
