About Me

CURRENT MISSION

saving money to stay in Wellington, New Zealand currently posesses most all of my time.

ABOUT ME

I enjoy tennis, distance running, tae bo, yoga, pilates, interior design, turning trash to treasures (flipping houses, refurbishing furniture), designing homes, camping, fishing, hiking, baking cakes, making chocolates from scratch...

PHILOSOPHY

I believe I'm here to bring joy to others. The way others inspire me, I hope to return the favor. The challenge I see in life is to see the good.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm here to learn about new places I may want to travel to one day. Also, to find a couch or two to stay on while in Wellington. In the future, I I move to a more desireable location, I would be likely to host a surfer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

nearly nothing

Interests

traveling, architecture, world history, interior design, painting, teaching, music (although I can't play it) most anything really.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have seen few movies i didn't love. I'm always falling in love with new music, mostly alternative, rock, folk, anything 60s/70s, 80s hair bands, some jazz...anything but total crap (Death metal has a way of making me leave the room plugging my ears and closing my eyes as if being near the speakers will somehow snatch out my soul!) but other than that I love all music. I'm not that into reading, it just puts me to sleep.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My family hosted a couple Korean exchange students when I was younger, I always treasured that experience, as I know the students did. I learned a lot about culture and friendship and trust from it.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
