ABOUT ME

Imagine someone next to a bottle of very fine red wine having lively discussions in a wide range of topics with a whole group of a mixture of people, smiling, laughing and having fun. That's me.
Then you'll see a person loving her big city life (I simply adore Budapest) but longing for the peace of nature every once in a while - that's also me.
And besides that I hope to be caring, considerate and open - trying to be a good friend.
My greatest love is my bike, I take it everywhere, partly because it's healthy, partly because it's fun and very importantly because I can somewhat protect the environment by doing so.
And yes, I love dancing:)

PHILOSOPHY

I don't really have one but I live by the following: I'm sure that kind and smiling people are attractive and liked by others. And it feels nice to be liked:)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have not surfed and hosted for a while but it's time to be back again:)

As a host be aware that I'm practically in love with Budapest, so if you come be prepared to listen to long stories about the sights. I will also love to take you to parties but if you ONLY come for that reason I'm probably not the perfect host for you. I consider CS to be a cultural exchange, so I will keep asking you a lot of questions and hope to gain insights into your culture.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just a few days after having registered on this sight I had my first couchsurfer for 3 nights. It was such a brilliant experience that I decided to do this as much as I can:)Then I just kind of never stopped for a good while. Now I can't host so extensively but I am back again and hope to meet some great couchsurfers!

As a surfer I had my first experiences last summer and my whole trip greatly exceeded my expectations. As well as it made me think how I can become a better host.

I've hosted CS-ers from: Sweden, China, Canada, India, the US, Taiwan, Turkey, Finland, Portugal, Mexico and Ecuador.
I've surfed in Slovakia, Italy, France, Switzerland, Slovenia, Croatia, Sweden and Denmark.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music: Jazz, funk - funky, classical above all but the scope is in fact a lot wider... Films: Anything good from Monty Python through Baraka to Lars von Trier. Books: Just a few favourites: Moravia, Vonnegut, Kundera (old stuff), Marquez, great Rushdie fan (though not Salimar...), the Russians, the Irish etc, etc, etc.
