About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Help travelers to travel easier. And same when we travel.

ABOUT ME

We are a couple, with 3 adult -kids-, family with dog and cat. They all travel on their own. Julia and Charlie live on their own, now. Charlie (22) cinema, Julia (24) photography, Jeremie (girl,201 in may)environmental design. We love getting together, cooking together, we make sure we share some meals and activities, exhibitions, cinema, dinners although everyone's schedules are busy. Each of us creates occasions to do so, and invites others.

PHILOSOPHY

Everyone welcome. Animals too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Inviting people over to make traveling easier, which also often means cheaper. Hopefully fun too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

through CS, 1 amazing couch use in SF/ California at Matteo's place (45) and one guest, Laurent (21), from France who now lives close to us. Hannelore, Hanno with their daughter Hannah (19). All became our friends. We have spent time with Hannelore and Hanno in Berlin and slept at their place as well. A couple from USA also came. Home exchange with Jakob and Bert, in Amsterdam was great, another with a brother and sister from Corsica, or with Suzanne, exchanging country for city. Our house is a happy home, always open to friends, friends of friends or family travelers. Everyone sleeps over, and being many at table is among our happiest moments. Room is often taken.

Interests

Arts in general/ literature/ design/ illustration/ cinema/ photo/music. Nature/Environmental issues. Exhibition/conferences. Traveling/camping. learning/hearing new languages. Outdoors/city bike riding. Getting involved in projects of all kinds. Dream I had many lives to be vet, gorilla specialist, photo-journalist, horse rancher, ethologue of all species, beach bar gallery-owner, architect, ocenaologue...well life is too short.
