About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to live life as if this is all there is

ABOUT ME

As I looked to find my place in the world post-college, I decided to take off to collect some life experience - to see the world, to figure out what I want be when I grow up, to better myself and to make the world somehow a better place.
In the process I learned a great number of things and met some amazing people. I have a deep rooted love for travel and sharing culture - and I believe one of the best ways to this is to share stories. Through Couchsurfing I hope to share some of the stories about what I've found through this process and to learn from the stories other's have to tell.
I haven't figured it all out yet, and I'm not sure if I ever will, but that's alright. For now I want to keep taking in as much as I can, traveling, and loving life.

PHILOSOPHY

To be in the moment
Forgive & forget
Don't knock it 'till you try it

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I spent some time surfing couches while living and traveling in Europe. I did some group CS activities during some time spent in Rome and while traveling in Paris and Copenhagen. I have also met up for coffee (and tennis!) with people in many places. I look forward to having a "real" place one day that has a couch to share!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing was a part of my life before Al Gore even invented the internet. My family has always hosted international travelers though a program in our home town. It instilled in me a love for sharing culture in and it also helped that I've also traveled since a very young age. My home, wherever that might be, has always been an open place and to see the world while sharing other's homes is one of my favorite ways to travel.
