HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I played host to traveling couchsurfers in several of my college houses, but have not yet had the chance to be that traveling couchsurfer.

兴趣

Jumping into frigid lakes, eating new things, interesting conversations with interesting people, being able to use a bicycle to get from one place to another, crossword puzzles, and fast complicated versions of Scrabble.

Books: the list is altogether too long to cram into this itty bitty box, but a few recent faves: God of Small Things, The French Lieutenant's Woman, Beloved, The Brothers K, etc etc..

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

A lightning bolt coming directly out of a rainbow in the dark skies above the Wyoming plains on my most recent trip 'cross the USA...just before it started raining so hard that the water on the road (and the parking lot that I had to wade through) was ankle-deep in seconds.

Wyoming is neat.
