ABOUT ME

I am 18 and I want to experience as much of life and learn as much as I can while I am youthful and my mind is still a sponge! I LOVE travelling and learning languages at the moment I know basic hungarian. I was an exchange student to Hungary in 2005.
Daniel Try (my boyfriend) is 24 and is equally bitten by the travel bug after doing a contiki tour of Europe but felt this didn't do the beautiful continent any justice!

PHILOSOPHY

I am still too young to have a set personal philosophy... My philosophy I guess is to be kind to others and learn and listen as much as possible.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to couchsurf to meet interesting people and experience new cultures. When I return I intend to return the favours as long as those I live with agree!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are new to the CouchSurfing Experience! I heard about this project through a friend and thought it was a fantastic idea. I have been an exchange student and hosted a student as well and think it is so important to learn about other peoples cultures and experiences.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Favorite Music: I love anything by Elton John, Pink Floyd, The Beatles. I love nostalgic 90s music. In fact I love most types of music.
Favorite TV Shows: I tend to not watch that much tv, but when I do, I can't tear myself away from The Simpsons, Law and Order or Sex and the City.
Favorite Movies: I love foreign films like Amelie and Kontroll, I am a sucker for Romantic films like The Notebook and Moulin Rouge and at the same time I love challenging aggressive movies like Fight Club and Dogville.
Favorite Books: Anything and everything.. I love that in books I can be anyone and go anywhere..yes im a nerd at heart lol My favourite childhood book is the Happy Prince by Oscar Wilde. At the moment I am reading jetlag parody travel guides, they are hilarious :-)
