Grad studies in Philosophy

ABOUT ME

I'm working down in socal while I write my M.A. thesis. My goal is to do doctoral studies after that. I think philosophy is a life and not a career, and am avoiding the fact that my actions somewhat indicate the contrary. I enjoy classical and folk music, and try to get to live shows whenever I can. I'm a pretty mellow guy who laughs too much and rides bikes. Love playing the blues and Irish trad on my D-15 acoustic. I am a member of a great poets guild which meets about once a month, and have been active in the poetry scene in Berkeley. I enjoy wine tasting and spirit tasting in general (esp. scotch). I'm Irish, Czech & German. I'm a Roman Catholic. Got a thing for classic cars.

Right now I can't offer a place to stay, but hopefully soon! Since this is pretty new to me I'm hope just to have some good experience surfing and then sharing those experiences.
