ABOUT ME

I am interested in learning and doing a variety of things. I "yarden", bird watch, and love to take photos...I also am part of a group learning to speak Español...I go to voice lessons and have written a few songs, as well as, poetry. I was taking guitar lessons for a while, but, unfortunately, did not practice enough. I tend to keep myself occupied with various projects. Oh, did I mention, I have a full-time job...dang, no wonder I am exhausted. I love to travel and meet people. I have only been outside of the United States once, to Canada. I have traveled to or through many of the states in the U.S. I love to travel via car.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a wide variety of music, but the 70's always hit home...
I prefer movies that make me laugh or feel gooood inside. I see too much heartache, for real, at my job...I don't want to watch it on TV when I get home.
Books that keep my attention are usually based in the struggles of reality with a lesson to be learned along the way...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen the Grand Canyon...that was amazing. I have been the director of the Mardi Gras Parade of Norman, Oklahoma and had my picture taken with an African-Crested Porcupine, she was our Mascot...that was different.
I raised a daughter who turned out to be a wonderful human being...that is a blessing.
