I'm a slack-line walking, book reading, lit writing, people helping, music loving, fitness adoring, forever dancing, rock climbing son-of-a-gun. If you enjoy doing or talking about any of these, let's get together! Heck, even if you don't, let's hang out.

PHILOSOPHY

When people feel comfortable in themselves, they treat each other with kindness and respect. When people don't feel comfortable with themselves, their relationships become exploitative or hostile. It's my dream to teach others how to feel comfortable about themselves and to help them do the same for others.

I won't presume that your destination is Lancaster PA, but if you're going to be in the area, drop me a line and we'll get together. My apartment is about the size of a postage stamp so unless you enjoy sleeping on linoleum I won't be hosting you overnight, but at the very least I can help you dodge the horse-and-buggies and show you around.

Music, Movies, and Books

The "best" movies I've seen are: Children of Men, Requiem for a Dream, Schindler's List, and Respiro (cheerful list, huh?), but I also like good action/scary/ fun movies like Heat, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Strangers, Jacob's Ladder, and Gladiator. My music tastes are the same, I love the ultra-moving: Sigur Ros, Explosions in the Sky, Radiohead, Elliot, Antony and the Johnsons etc, and then I love my soul/ funk/ rock and roll (James Brown, Booker T & the MGs, the Four Tops, Little Richard) and anything that gets my foot tapping. I'm in the process of re-reading House of Leaves (AKA checking all those damn footnotes and allusions). And anything by Nietzsche is peachy. Yeah, it doesn't rhyme. Sue me :P
